Wilderen Kriek is gebrouwen met spontaan gegiste Lambic. Langzaam gerijpt op grote oud eikenhouten foedervaten. Hieraan werd 25% van de rijpste en sappigste krieken toegevoegd. Wilderen Kriek heeft hierdoor een prachtige dieprode kleur en zeer fruitig aroma.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet cherry, sugar, syrup, with some tart cherry. Flavour is mildly tart and very sugary sweet, enough to give me a toothache. Body is medium. Predictably way too sweet.

Tap at Bonte Koe, Leiden: Red coloured brew with an very sweet taste, probarly due the use of cherry juice. An new beer fro this new Belgian brewery.

Appearance: Clear deep red with a moderate pink head. Aroma and taste: Mostly cherries. Natural. Almonds. Light sweet, sour & bitter. Balanced. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average carbonation. Summary: OK.

Bottled@NK Stockholm. Deep red colour with a mediumsized pink head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is cherries, some almonds and mild sugary tones. Flavour is cherry essence, some almonds, mild syrup and some toffee tones. Watery.

Deep dark red colour. Aroma is like a cherry bakewell, loads of sweet cherries and almonds. Extremely sweet and jammy with a sharp tang around the edge.

250ml bottle. Clear, ruby colour, no head. Artificial, sweet-ish cherry aroma. Taste is sweet, artificial, fruity, notes of cherry, a touch of citric acid. Creamy-watery texture, slightly sticky palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Sweet, artificial, sugary.

Taster at gfs place courtesy of Sander, thanks. brown color, small pink head. smells parfumy, soda, light cherries, artifical aromas. ok smell. light body, soft carbonation. tastes sweet, soda, cherries. finishes quite sweet with notes of soda, cherries and some aromas. not overly exciting, too sweet, too artificial.
