Brewed to remember Catherine (the tragic queen, wife of Henry VIII) passing through Ampthill on her last journey.
A beautiful tangy citrus beer with a lingering bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Knights Templar, JDW, Bristol. Gold in colour with a decent white head. Light. summer fruit aroma with some grassy hops. Sweetish malt flavour with a dry, citrus hop finish. Good.

2008-11-09, Cask Conditioned at J.D. Watherspoon - The Shakespear’s Head, London, 5-3-5-3-11
Light amber color. The aroma is light, but it reminds me some white wine. Ordinary malt flavor, with a very light fruitness. Not impressive, but slightly better than my first impression.
2008-11-07, Cask Conditioned at J.D. Wetherspoon - The Pommeler’s Rest, London, 5-3-5-3-9=25
Light amber color. Some caramel flavor, balanced, but too simple, quite boring.
