Cask at Wellington Arms, half pint shared with Finn. Golden-brown body, clear, pearl white head, dotted spots on the glass. Subdued smell of fruity bread, mid-sweet. Rather discreet caramel fruity flavours. Short tail, mid-dry bitter notes. Thin on the swallow. So and so. (Bedford 18.11.2021).

Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford Pours a golden brown with a small white head. Not much of a nose – slightly nutty if anything. Mouthfeel has oranges, corn and caramel, hints of lemongrass and malts with a grainy texture. Finish is a bit more malty. A nothing beer.

12/2/2019. Cask at the B&T Brewery Tap, Shefford. Pours bright amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, rotting veg and elastic bands. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness but taste overall is a little putrid. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite poor effort from the brewers Brewery Tap.

Cask @ B&T Brewery Tap, Shefford. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and burnt rubber. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. I can’t beleive they would serve it in such bad condition in their own brewery tap. 120219
