"Handbottled" at the brewpub. Almost clear, light red colored. AROMA- honey sweet, tones of red fruit, woody hops. FLAVOR- a bit sweet, pleasantly bitter, woody hops, red fruit, no chilli flavor, but warming chilli presence. Light to medium bodied.

Tap at the brewery. Clear rose-ruby colour. Rose-white head. Caramel and burnt sugar aroma. Taste is initially estery and fruity. Sweet. Then lightly caramel, lightly metallic and oxidated. Chilli warmth is only in the finish and very light in intensity. Not bad but nothing great either. Average.

Keg at the Brewpub in Prague Day 4 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 2/10/14. Hazed red / orange coloured pour with a fleeting fine white head. Aroma is subdued grainy malts, berry. Flavour is composed of toasted rye, jammy fruits, hint of warming at the back of the throat. Pretty weak, Palate is semi-sweet, moderate carbonation. Weak chilli beer.

Draught at the brewpub. Mild buttery aroma. Cloudy red brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour has a little chili, quite mild. Slight burn, seemingly on a quite boring lager background.

31-12-04 from Pivovarsky Dum, despite three visits over the last few years to this place, this was the first time that I had seen and tried their chilli beer. Did not get much of an aroma. Not as hot as I was expecting, and really rather fine, bit of bite in the finish.
