Half pint, cask at Mermaid. Filmy layer, clingy lacing, near clear golden-brown body. Ripe fruity nose, mid-sweet. Taste of ripe fruits with banana sweetness. Rounded mid-sweet ending. Easy to drink. Quite alright. (Shared with Finn, St Albans 27.09.2018).

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. An attractive pale amber pour with a tight white head; floral aroma; dry floral taste with a lasting herbal bitterness. A straightforward, very drinkable blonde ale, showing that good summer beers don't have to taste of citrus.

Bottle at The Shed, Seaton. Huge aroma of apple cider (appley) with decent appearance, fitting profile for the area. Taste is of apple cider and a slight malt vinegar. Palate is a but pub floor but very quaffable. Really enjoyed this one, very fresh! 8-4-7-3-15 Bottle at home from shop in Beer. Same as above with slightly fresher palate but more see through and less special (occasion I suppose). 8-5-6-3-14

Bottle from Woods Village Store, Colaton Raleigh. Amber with a small glow and a very thin head. Has a surprisingly light drinking texture for its strength, almost (but not quite) thin tasting, with a pleasant fruitiness in both aroma and taste.
