Tap at the Delft Beer Featival 2014. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast, light medicinal. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a yeast malt mineral aspirin alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel.

Bouteille 37.5cl sample @ The Place to Beer festival, Enghien.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes @ weekly tasting. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head that leaves fair to good lacing. Smell and taste malts, yeasty, decently bitter, some herbs. Well, yeah, I’d say this is a pretty decent tripel in my book.

Bottle, 75cl corked. An almost clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has some pale malts, but with quite a lot of white sugar. Generic fruityness, some yellow apples and pears and a pleasant herbal touch. Full body, pleasant carbonation level and a tad too much sweetness. Pale malts, white sugar and fruityness in the flavor. A nice bitterness and alcohol notes too, lasting for some time. Overall, it’s too sweet and sugary, but it’s tasteful and pleasant anyway. 140301
