650ml bottle from mgermani, thanks.
popped the cap, and there was ZERO noise, not a good sign. aroma is wet cardboard, and sour red wine, pretty much a big nose of red wine vinegar. Flavour is sour, syrupy, and vinegary. This bottle has to be off, there is no way they intended it to tatse like this. It actually tastes like a flemish sour ale now. still i couldnt dinrk it, the vinegar flavour was way too much to stand

Very fruity beer, almost no grain notes at all. Foggy red body with a modest head. I was hoping for more balance between currant and beer beer, but overall it’s not bad for a fruit beer. However, could use more complexity.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. A deep red beer with a slight haze under a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of black currant. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of black currant, leading to a dry and slightly woody finish.

Solid, well brewed, good delicate caramel flavor, subtle red berries fruitness.

Cloudy dark brown color with purple shades. The aroma has a light sourness, more the flavor. Ok, there is some fruit, but there is nothing else interesting here. The aroma has also a light vegetable touch. Weird.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 11 Nov 2007) Deep ruby colour with brownish notes, brief brownish red head. Fruity, tart nose with dark notes of black-currant. Fruity, tart taste with juicy notes of black-currant and hints of yeast. Alcohol well hidden. Slightly prickly mouthfeel. Nice and summery brew, but I did prefer their raspberry beer.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival ... Deep red ... slight (not unpleasent) sour fruit nose ... tart sharp fruit not quite sour ... blackcurrent exploded in mouth a great beer on that alone, but its more than just the fruit explosion.

Ruby red color, no head. Very fruity blackberry aroma. A bit sourish, fruity-berrish flavor. Nice sourish aftertaste. Blackcurrant traces. Good fruit beer.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Purple with small pink head. Citric aroma with cranebrries and, of course, black currant. Dryish and medium bodied The berries are very evident, but they never seem out of place. Lightly yeast and quite refreshing. No bitterness. Is this stuff really over 8%??
