Stiegl-Goldbräu is a traditional Salzburg beer specialty with 12° Plato and a characteristic golden-yellow color. A full-bodied beer with a gentle bitterness brewed using indigenous ingredients. Wonderfully refreshing and very agreeable.

Can from Beer 52. Not much aroma, maybe a hint of lemons. Pours a clear bright yellow with a vigorous white head. Watery texture and low carbonation. In the mouth, there’s some corn, some hops, some lemon - but not much of any of them ! A slight bitterness in the finish. Pleasant enough – one for quenching the thirst really.

Edit 11/2022. Malty and floral and spicy hops aroma. Brilliant gold body; white head. Malty, spicy, crispy. Below average lager. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Vienna. # 916; 12/2017. Velmi obilný s kořenitou hořkostí a vcelku dobrou pitelností. Žádný zázrak, ale dá se. 4-3-5-3-11=*2,6

Clear gold, white head. Clean industrial pale malts, no hops. Similar taste, just a touch of sweetness, feels over-attenuated, a bit devoid of malts character. No hops either. Ok, crisp and soft body. Clean. Low bitterness with a touch of alcohol. Just a regular macro lager.
