Head gone in an eyeblink; still cola-coloured beer. Not much nose, some dark malts, dark bread, melanoidins. Cola taste without the phosphoric acidity. After a time dry dark malts and dry brown bread appear, ending sweeter. Feels better bodied than it is, bit maltslick; but the beer feels dead. Oh well. It's certainly not offensive. Thanks to Stef!

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with a small tan head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was chocolate, chicory and toasty malts. The flavor was dryish, malty and a bit roasty with notes of nut, chicory, a hint of mint and a bit of cocoa. Medium length finish. Medium body but a bit flat. Odd.

12oz bottle. Brown-black color with a small frothy head. Lots of roasty chocolate flavor and aroma, while remaining pretty light and smooth on the palate. Not unlike a Porter. Some mild hop balance. Overall a pretty good beer, extraordinary by South American standards.
