De dubbel van brouwerij Dampegheest heeft een heldere kastanjekleur van zacht geroosterde mout en geuren van donker fruit en kandijsuiker. Het zoete dat je als eerste proeft, krijgt al snel gezelschap van tonen van karamel, stroop, drop en in de verte wat speculaaskruiden. Het koolzuur geeft een bittere tinteling op de tong die je ook in de nasmaak nog proeft en voelt, waarbij de zoetheid op de achtergrond raakt. Een smaaktraject dat dit bier skoftig lekker maakt!

Bottle 330ml (AIH40, BNav)
Murky brown color, small brownish head. Caramel, prunes, lots of yeast in the nose. Medium-bodied. Alcohol, light candy sugar notes, yeast, prune. Listed here as an amber ale but certainly it is something else. Typical "homebrewish" Dutch.

Tap at Delft Beer Festival. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, dark fruit, raisins. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Dampegheest Skoftig ].Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, wood - tobacco, light roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sugary, brown sugar, tobaccoo, caramel, malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack malzig, fruchtig, leicht würzig.

dobre, etykieta zdradza jakby byl to mleczny stout, ale chyba to bardziej amber ale z niewielka piana ciemnym bursztynowym i metnym kolorze. Chmielone mocno i goryczkowo jak na ambera. bardzo estrowe piwo

33cl bottle from Bernavigatie. Thin white head. Hazy amber pour. An ok amber.

Rood bruin met witte kraag Aroma: volmoutig, caramel Smaken: redelijk caramelzoet, zwak bitter, gist, rozijnen, donker fruit, medium body, glad in de mond, zacht, gember Afdronk zoet en lichtbitter waarbij het alcohol lang in de mond blijft plakken

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Unclear reddish color, huge fizzy soapy off-white head. Not a lot of aroma other than malts and herbs. Taste malts, slightly leaves, a bit bitter, some herbs or spices. Medium body, medium a bit fizzy carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy, murky orange to brown with a huge off-white head. Smells malty, herbs, yeasty. Tastes liquorice, malts, herbs. Medium body, medium carbo.
