Cask. Copper colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is honey, some citrus fruits, nuttyness as well as some sweet maltyness. Flavour is bready and caramelly malts along with some nuts, bread and mild zestyness. Ends quite fruity.

Cask at the Regal (JDW), Cambridge. Amber gold with a dense white head; subdued honey aroma; rather bland flavour, with perhaps a touch of honey, fortunately not over sweet; and lacking a real finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms(JDW), Bristol 18/07/10. Deep gold with a slick of a white head. A rather overpowering mix of honey, butter and ashy malts. Not very nice.

Golden colour with a fair amount of white head. Slightly honeyish aroma as well as citric hops. The honey in the flavour is a little more subdued than some of the other honey beers and is probably better for it. Fairly drinkable, but nothing special.
