Aroma of malt, bread, caramel, hint of fruits, toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Disappointing ’American Pale Ale’, far too malty, where are the big hops?

Bottled (from Mitra? in Groningen (I bought it in Groningen, but not sure it was the Mitra there, notes not complete). Amber colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grass, some cardboard and mild citrus with a bit of earthy tones too. Flavour is sweet malts, grass, some mild herbal and mild earthy tones. Not that refreshing.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Hazy amber with a white head. Malty aroma with some faint hops. Bitter taste with some breadiness. Was expecting more hops in an APA. Finish is also very short, swallow a sip and the taste, aroma and mouthfeel is almost instantly gone. Not really bad in taste but this one needs some serious work.

Bottle at Chriso going Dutch tasting, 03/07/14. Clear golden amber with a decent off white head that stays for the show. Nose is bitter orange, lemon peel, spice, straw, light soap. Taste comprises sharp citric fruit, tangy orange, pithy citrics, straw, tartened fruit, sharp lemon intake. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Poor for style, where’s the hop presence?

Copper colour. Aroma and flavour have massive amounts of light malts. The finish is bitter. Overly malty and quite thin. Possible defective.
