Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Firstly, let me say that this beer has clearly been brewed to keep beer drinkers healthy. Thanks NOT ! This GUSHED all over my wallet, phone, laptop then all over the table as in my panic stricken state I was holding it up there like a bloody Roman Candle and not knowing what to do with the damn thing. I’d have chucked the bastard out of the window had I not been on the 28th floor of a hotel with fuggin’ sealed units! Well, after clearing up the carnage, there was about half the bottle left. Not good value for money eh. The aroma was yeast, citrus with a light sweet flavour and a toffee caramel malt palate. Medium bodied with nuclear powered carbonation! A nice enough beer but i’m getting really tired of these gushers from the Netherlands and it’s mainly Dutch brewers that have these problems. It should not be sold commercially until these problems have been ironed out!

Bottle [thanks to bierkoning] @ home. Gusher. Clear orange color, medium sized off-white head. Smell malts, hay, slightly hops. Taste malts, straw, some caramel, bitter, again only slightly hops. Too much carbonation that gets in the way of the flavors. Meh.

Clear orange-amber colour, big flocky off-white head, reduces gradually to foamy layer. Aroma wheat, apricot, bit caramel, grass, yeast, some ginger. Taste medium sweet and bitter, fruity and spicy undertones. Medium body, creamy texture, over-carbonated. Rather mild bittersweet finish. Not really a bad beer but a far cry from an American pale ale.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig fruchtig, grasig, Citus. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, Citrus, grasig, herb.

33cl Bottle from Secret Sint. Clear amber colour, huge fizzy head. Aroma of ripe fruits, some cocoa, light hoppy, more like a Belgian ale. Flavour is dry, caramel, cocoa, light grassy, yeast, light spicy, almost herbal bitter finish. Light-bodied, extremely over-carbonated, distracting from the joy of drinking. Not very good, and miles from an APA.

Fles 33cl thuis. Hoppig, kruidig, goed bitter, droog. (1-2014).--------------.

Bottle from Berts Bierhuis @ HT. Light golden coloured, hazy white head. Nose is light malty, pils malts, slightly skunked. Flavour is light malty, a bit yeasty, bit of caramel. More like a belgian ale. Fairly bitter, slightly hoppy. Hops could be more present. A bit disappointing.

Bottle. Huge head with good duration. Color is amber with floaties. Lots of carbonation as is typical Dutch craft brew. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, little hops and malt.

enorme gusher wat er van overbleef in het glas was oranje, helder met schuimige witte kraag aroma: erg muffig/aards, moutig, zoet, citrus maar ook metalig smaken: matig zoet, matig bitter, zwat bier, licht fruitig, redelijk moutig, licht rokerige toets, aardse/houten tonen, graan, kruidig, fruit, zeer lichte chocolademouten, zwakke body, glad van textuur, te veel co2, en muf/vreemd kruidig. --- Beer merged from original tick of 1325 on 17 May 2018 at 16:43 - Score: 5
