Full of character, Mc CHOUFFE delights lovers of dark beer all over the world. Its distinctive flavour, its dark ruby colour and its fine creamy head make it a unique beer. Mc CHOUFFE is also characterised by its spicy aniseed and liquorice flavours, superbly complemented by full-bodied caramel notes. Despite its robustness, Mc CHOUFFE is surprisingly smooth. It even reveals delicious fruity notes, especially pear, as well as a very slight hint of bitterness at the end of the palate. With its 8% alcohol content, like LA CHOUFFE, Mc CHOUFFE is appreciated with the same lightness as its big blond sister.

Bottle from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Aroma had sweet dark fruit, substitute and basement. Clear dark chestnut. Thick foamy off-white head. Very sweet - sugared dried fruit - with a sour boozy edge. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but verging on too sweet for my tastes.

Brunröd mörk vätska med kaffegräddefärgat skum. Rejäla doser av choklad, kaffe och dadlar i aromen. Maltig massiv sötma som tas ut av en torr humlig beska. Lång och värmande eftersmak.

Bottle on 11th February 2022 from La Belgique Gourmande, Brussels. Pours hazy reddish copper with tan foam and spot lacing. Rich roasty malt aroma. Spicy hazelnut maltiness in-mouth, and a lasting finish of spicy and nutty maltiness. Full bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Barwa ciemno miedziana, dochodząca do brunatnej klarowne, piana jasnobeżowa, niezbyt obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie słodowe, karmelowe, tostowe, ciemne owoce. W smaku słodowe, karmelowe, lukrecja, ciemne owoce, opiekane słody, cukier kandyzowany, trochę nut korzennych. Goryczka do średniej, wysycenie niskie do średniego, ciało w normie. Przyzwoity i dość bogaty Belg.

0,33 bottle.Nice beer. In every way. Huge cream-colored - sometimes white foam, amber body, the dwarf is also beautiful on the label and cap. Malty, slightly fruity, raisin, caramel aroma. Medium-bodied sip, carbonation almost perfect. Dried fruit, a little alcohol is also felt, but not too bad. Quality winter, creamy brown Belgian ale beer for winter. Of course I would drink it in summer too. Caramel, biscuity, sweet finish, delicious, the sugariness is not bothersome. As it warms up, it becomes more and more fruity, and we also get a delicious "beer" bitterness. The foam is also beautiful throughout. I highly recommend it, a good "eight"!

Szép sör. MInden téren. Hatalmas krémszínű-helyenként fehér hab, borostyán test, a törpe is szép a címkén, kupakon egyaránt. Malátás, picit gyümölcsös, mazsolás, karamelles illat. Közepesnél testesebb korty, szénsav szinte tökéletes. Aszalt gyümölcsös, kicsit alkohol is érződik, de nem vészesen. Minőségi téli, krémes barna belga ale sör télre. Persze nyáron is meginnám. Karamelles, kekszes, édeskés lecsengés, finom, a cukrosság nem zavaró. Ahogy melegszik, egyre gyümölcsösebb, mellé pedig kapunk egy finom "sörös" keserűséget is. A hab is mindvégig gyönyörű. Kifejezetten ajánlom, jó kis "nyolcas"!

Smell-weak to medium, Belgian yeast, malt, sweet-ish, weak caramel. Foam- thin, large in mouth, caramel, sweet, Belgian yeast. Head is medium-sized, light brown-white color goes away fast. Appearance- again brewer bottle cap, and unique label. Clear ruby-brown color, no carbonation bubbles. From- snifter Price- 2,49 euros for 330ml Taste- caramel, malt, Belgian yeast, sweetness, weak hops, alcohol mixed in well. Tasty Belgian, more sweet than malty, hops maybe only in the background. Overall- good.
