330mL bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma has lots of dry bready malts, crush notes, and light spiciness. Flavour has plenty of dry bready caramel malt, a touch of rustic saison yeast, and finished with some old bread crusts. Not particularly complex but it’s clean and drinkable… very bready.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of bread crust, old socks and a bit of caramel with vegetal notes. Flavors of doughy malts, metallics, caramel and some dark fruit. A Saison can be anything, and this one is definitely different from the average Belgian.

Nice saison. Bought from Beers of Europe, drank at home.

Tap at the Black Sheep in Montpellier. Indokolatlanul karamelles és nehéz, sehol sem találni azt a frissítő jelleget, amit keresnék egy saisonban. Csalódás

this had to have been a bad bottle. Aroma is slight caramel, a bit of sour funk, and metal. Flavour is quite bitter with a HUGE metalic taste to it. all the way through the whole glass i got that metal taste. I would have to try this again, i doubt it suppost to taste like this.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, frothy osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly toasty, bready malty and yeasty spicy aroma, hints of dark bread crust, caraway-spiced bread, some clove. Taste is slightly toasty, bready malty, minimally sugary, dark and caramel malty, slightly yeasty spicy, hints of dark bread crust, caraway-spiced bread, a touch of rock sugar, clove, dark caramel, burnt sugar.
Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly to lively carbonation.
A bit sugary, not overly complex - acceptable.

Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, sugar, dried fruits, hint of vegetables and red fruits. Flavour is sweet and syrupy, body is medium. Not what I want to experience when I open a bottle of Saison!

Bottle 0,25: Coppery coloured brew with some yeast floating. Sweetbitter taste and not so farmy of smell as the usual Saisons.
