Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy warm cap, very long retention and some nice lacing. Loads of beautiful tropical fruit aromas (mangoes, papaya) with the piney notes following. Good bitterness with a nice dry finish. Lots of grass lingers over the fruity malts. Hints of bubblegum balances things. An overall very nice full time addition. A great IPA.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, light dankness and some citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, bringing out pungent dank, piney hops upfront, with a little citrus, some herbal like character and biscuity malt to back. Rather pungent and aggressive, but it works well. Very good.

Bottle from the LCBO. Slightly hazy medium gold under a small white head that recedes quickly to a sheet. Nose is bright citrus with orange peel and grapefruit at the fore and some light grains. Light malt sweetness supports a big bitter and tart citrus body and extended bitter finish. Mouth is medium+ with good carbonation and a long chewy bitter finish. This surprised me as the IPA has not been Beau’s forte. 8/3+/8/4/16

A lightly hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light resinous floral hops, light pine needles, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with light cereals, resinous and piney hops, light mineral notes, white grapefruit, pleasant. On tap at L’autre oeil.

Bouteille 750 ml.
