Extra 4 is the latest scion of the notable St. Bernardus family. A refreshing blond beer that is brewed in the classic single style. Every year, our Extra 4 can be enjoyed in spring and summer. Extra 4 shines with the golden hue of pale straw, topped off with a snowy-white collar. As this beer re-ferments in the bottle, it produces a lovely fizz in the glass. EBC 9.

On tap of St. B day 12/12 @ChurchKey. Hazy, pale yellow tulip, extra frothy. Minerally lemon, cracker nose. Dusty, sharp, briney-bittersweet citrus. Talc-y, cotton, mineral finish. Still extra frothy down to the bottom. Solid to extra good, depending on the day.

330ml bottle from Trenton Road Takeout. Bright, medium gold color is full of cascading bubbles that lead to a pillowy white head. Tangy, earthy malt aroma hints at lemon, pale grain, subtle yeast and herbal hops. Flavor is dryish, bready malt upfront. Notes of lemon zest, tangy yeast and herbal hops. Crisp, dry, bitter hop finish is brief.

En tulipa. Color amarillo pálido, turbia, espuma fina de mediana retención. Aroma a levadura belga, citricos, cereal, lúpulo. En boca es ligera, cítrica, especiada, herbácea, ligeramente carbonatada, final seco...una belgian ale ligerita, buena, muy rica y digna de disfrutar.
