The first real Tripel in Limburg. A strong beer with pure malt, top fermentation and a copper blond character. Be sure to taste the Sint-Gummarus Tripel, our golden yellow pride. Expect a traditional combination of fruity aromas and a soft hoppy aftertaste. Naughty, stimulating and pure.

Bottled. Slightly hazy golden colour with mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is fruits, caramelmalts, mild spices and some yeast. Alcohol gives a quite glueish stinging note once it warms up a bit. Flavour is sweet sugary fruits along with some spices, yeast and mild earth. Overall quite sweet, and alcohol also shows a bit.

Bottled. Cloudy orange, rich creamy head. Aroma of pineapple and banana. Sweet and caramelly with soft mouthfeel. Sugary with lots of canned pineapple and some peppery alcohol. Too sweet, but with an intense pleasant flavour.

A hazy orange beer with a thin light orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dusty hops, over ripe fruits and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit - especially peaches, yeast, dusty hops, and alcohol, leading to a spicy end, which gives way to an alcohol burn.

Clear orange-amber beer with heavy pearling; small but consistent off-white head, leaving some lace. Alcohol, slightly burnt candi sugar, little bit of toffee; arachide and laurel. Generally sweetish to sweet nose. Burnt sugar again, not sweet this time. Bitterish without hops. There’s a slightly cloying retronasal taste that is just not sweet, just a wee bit malty. Markedly almondy warming up. Quite watery texture, reverting to more grist fill-in and a harsh burnt aftertaste. I’m sorry, but I just don’t dig the St. Gummarus twins.

Blond clear body with a long-lasting, off-white frothy head. Alcoholic and flowery flavours, smells also a little bit like apple-juice or yoghurt. Bitter flavour, little bit soury too. It is a really disgusting beer.
