Slightly hoppy aroma, blond color, slightly bitter attack that develops into a fruity mouthfeel, pineapple genre, hop addition well balanced between bitterness and aromatic perception.

Bottle at l’Hostellerie du Peiffeschof, Arlon, Luxembourg, Belgium. Hazy golden yellow, huge fluffy white head, massive lacing. Aroma of fresh bread and orange peel. Taste of citrus and malt with light spice. Good body. Nice start to a Belgian beer excursion.

Bottle, courtesy of Plovmand. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a nice, off-white head. Citrusy nose with traces of cellar and herbs, quite flowery. The flavor has citrus-peel, fruityness, flowers, a warming alcohol burn and some bitterness. Warming, sweet and fruity finish. Medium body, slightly acidic and quite effervescent. A quite respectable beer, but a bit too warming. 090822
