Very hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy with good fine crisp carbonation. Airy malt, semi sweet. Lovely vibrant hops - tangerine with orange peel, quite sherbetty. Trace of lemon. Finishes airy and semi dry. Tangy citric linger. A delight.

Very hoppy and dry bitter beer. Has a fruity aroma, but the bitterness is dominant in the taste. Has a brett like tardiness. Good beer.

Pours nice amber, a lot of foam that is slowly reducing. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy, sticky tropical fruits, sugary fructose. Tastes like a proper IPA - feels rather Old World style although the hops are from the New World. Soft and slightly bitter hops - a bit dry and resiny. Nice.

Big beige head. Clear deep dark red body with light carbonation. Sourish spicy fruity aroma is kind of subdued. Dry, and faintly acidic, pine needle and wood taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry resiny pine needle aftertaste with tropical fruit and mineral notes. I didn’t like it at first, and there’s something sourish and stale hovering in the background, but parts of the beer are also quite good. (0.33l bottle, from de Bierkoning, Amsterdam.)

26/XII/13 - 33cl bottle from Biernavigatie (webshop, NL) @ home, 2nd Christmas tasting - bottled: III/2013 (2013-1182)
Pretty cloudy dark amber to red to muddy brown beer, huge off-white irregular head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of passion fruit, sweet, bit chemical, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity start, lots of mango, citrus, floral touch, some honey, bit sweet, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: grapefruit, biscuity malts, bitter hops, grassy, bit piny, fruity, pineapple and passion fruit. Wow, quite a pleasant surprise!!!
