Aroma of weak rotten cardboard and virgin cabbage. Has a decent head of some size and a bright yellow body with just a bit of carbonation. Flavour is mediocre sugar water with a soft mention of wheat. Mouthfeel is weak and sweet. A very average lager, one you would indeed find to drink in Lager Hell.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Bier met een bleke kleur. Weinig aroma. Smaak is moutig en ijzer achtig. Geen nasmaak.

0.33l bottle from bern. pours a clear very light yellow with a frothy white head and some lacing. aroma of grassy and slightly sulphuric hops, corn, mineral water. grainy, citrusy, strawy notes. light body, typical industrial lager, although thirst-quenching and quite drinkable overall.

50cl bottle of Rugenbräu Lager Hell from a Co-op in Interlaken. Pale straw with a thin white head, lightly carbonated; aroma of leafy Germanic hops; medium body with a grainy flavour; crisp, clean, lightly bitter finish. A pleasant enough everyday lager.

Bottle (kindly deliverd by Allen!): Pale greenish-golden, relatively quickly collapsing loose white head; light to moderate sweetish-grainy nose with a shy bitter background; watery MF, very light sweetish flavour, accompanied by a light bitterness; short watery sweet-.bitter finish.Yawn......

(bottle, as Lager Hell, courtesy of Allen) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head, quickly collapsing. Distinctively grainy malty aroma with a light dusty notes and traces of herbal hops in the backyard. Light-sweet flavour with a light level of acidity, watery body with a moderate carbonation. Slim pale malt-character with subtle sour doughy notes and a touch of grains; slim and short malty finish with a whiff of hops and subtle fruity notes. 07.IV.10
