Bottle at home. Aroma is grassy hops, zesty citrus peel, biscuit malt, grapefruit, tropical fruity notes, slightly herbal-ish. Flavour is very potently bitter. Body is medium. Could be a bit more balanced, the bitterness is off the charts. Nonetheless, this is a very crisp and fruity hoppy IPA.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color, compact head. More than an IPA, this is a crossover between an American Pale Ale and a Saison; it’s fairly light, and the spicy yeast character is very strong. The bitterness in the final is a not too much, like chicory. But besides that it deserves mentions for having a bold character. Very good.

Very cloudy pale orange with a huge lingering white head that leaves a ton of lace and a significant amount of lees. Nose is quite yeasty with bananas, spice, green tea, citrus peel, grapefruit, grassy and resinous hops, a dose of funk and just a trace of bready malts. Taste is big and bitter from start to finish with citrus and some green fruit. Mouth is medium and slightly sticky with average carbonation and a long lingering bitter finish. Could be a bit more malt up front for balance but enjoyable. 8/4-/7+/4-/16

Bit of a gusher. Hazy amber with big fluffy head. Aroma of earthy hop. Flavour is rather bitter and also leaves a slightly rough and numbing sensation on the palate. Seems to lack a bit of depth and complexity. It’s just bitter.
