Sampled on draft this beer poured a cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was dryish, phenolic and yeasty with a bit of citrus, perfume and light bubblegum. The flavor was dryish with bubblegum, grain, yeast and citrus. Medium length finish. Medium body.

This was poured into a weizen glass.
The appearance was the normal cloudy ruddy yellow color with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice slow pace. Light lacing glossed around the sides nicely.
The smell took in the normal qualities of a hefeweizen ie, sweet banana, light clove, light bubblegum combine nicely.
The taste rolled the previously mentioned flavors together tightly. The clove does seem to hit a bit more in the flavor than the bubblegum and banana, but I like it. Sweet banana aftertaste. Light sweet to semi-spicy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light and the clove hit nicely on my tongue.
Overall, good job Two Roads for making a nice hefeweizen that I know I’ll be grabbing again this Summer.

Tasted at the BeerTemple in Amsterdam, in the company of a brewer of Nögne Ö, who is apparently an acquaintance of the Two Roads brewer in Connecticut. Moussy, stable, off-white head, cloudy yellow blonde colour with greenish hue. Sweaty aroma, hint of H2S even (sewer water), but fortunately more charming aromas of apple, pear, dough, wheat and pineapple as well. Soft applish onset, white grape, hint of banana but less so than in a Bavarian Hefeweizen, light citrus freshness, bready and a bit yeasty middle, dryish finish with light, basic wheat sourishness and hops only for structure, not really noticeable as such. Does not travel too well I guess, this is allegedly a lot better when fresh.
