Bottle @ Voldby tasting. Pours pale light yellow with a fading white head. Aroma of wheat, little yeast, light nutty, spice, coriands. Flavor is whet, bread, yeast, spice, light citrus notes. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation, rather dry finish. 250714

Can 1 pint. Pours a cloudy, opaque greyish amber with a tiny, white head. Heavy banana esters up front. Loads of yeast and cloves as well. Medium body, very classic Hefeweizen characteristics, the banana esters come out rather sweet but the beer itself is pleasantly dry. And ends dry. Not a bad stab at the style at all. So if you’re into Hefes, this shouldn’t scare you away. 010714

The Sampler, Brooklyn 16 ounce can: Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is banana and a little bit of spice. Taste is rather much on the sweet side. Very fruity. Little in the way of hops and spice. Not bad, but probably too sweet for me.

"Location: Treehouse Restaurant in Mystic, 7/13/13
Aroma: The aroma is wheat and fairly light, with some clove, banana, and yeast notes as well
Appearance: It pours a golden color, a little hazy, with a decent sized white head
Flavor: The taste is decently on-style, plenty of wheat, with banana and clove too
Palate: it has a medium body that leans light, a decent mouthfeel, and a plus carbonation
Overall Impression: Solid, but hardly remarkable example of the style. Drinkable, but not memorable sums it up. Not much more to say beyond that.
