A Classic Irish style. A Balanced easy drinking beer with subtle caramel, toffee and chocolate aromas. A nod to sweetness, lightly hopped tea like character and a soft toasted malt finish.

Before 2019 brewed at Boundary.

Bottle from the Vineyard, Belfast. Appearance - red to brown, cloudy. Some head. Nose - light astringent but a touch of toffee. Cranberries, maybe. Taste - toffee, caramel, light biscuit at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture. The finish is dry yet there’s a sweet tangy note melded in. Overall - quite like an 80 shilling. Solid.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy dark amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee and biscuit. Light red fruit. Taste is like liquid jammie dodgers. Light sweet finish. Biscuit linger. Maybe a bit thin.

EU local swap. Wenig karbonisierter, leicht röstiger Antrunk. Zunehmend malzig, dabei zu gleichermaßen hopfig und malzig. Weich, geringe Süße. Gelungen. 10/8/8/9/9/9

Bottle shared by Beersiveknown @ tasting at his place. Huge thanks Steve! Clear autumnal red color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, light caramel, a bit dry, light to moderately bitter. Ok.
