Hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma of oranges, grapefruit, lemon blossoms, hay, herbs, some under-ripe berries. Fruity but fairly dry. Elegant and refreshing. Hay, lots of quite pungent citrus, medium bitterness. Almost Brett-like zinginess. Good.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 5 Apr 2014) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, apricots, grass and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of grainy malt, citrus, lemon peel and fresh grassy/floral hops in a finish with a generous bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fresh, tasty and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Tap at Ma Che, Roma, 08/02/14. Lightly hazed golden orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is lemon rind, bitter orange notes, straw, lightly toasted malt. Taste comprises orange sherbet, grassy, bread dough, light toast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with subtle grassy hop bitterness. Decent enough GB laced with earthy citrics.

Large, hand-pulled on 10th Dec 2013 in Open Baladin, Rome. Slight haze to this blonde offering, on top a white crown which in turn left some heavy lacing. The nose was perfumed and fruity, as was the taste. My first ever cask Italian beer, it was fine and I’m really pleased that I tried it. Mild citrus and bitter finish to each sip from a fruity and malty start. Medium bodied and easy to drink.

Bottle at Deanso’s Den Haag April RB tasting. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a thick frothy white head. The aroma is weak but complex. There are lots of malt, hops, bubble gum and lots more in there too. The flavour is medium bitter, smooth, a little buttery with some spicy hops on the palate. The bitterness sticks around in the aftertaste. This beer grew on me the more I drank.
