The first Lithuanian beer, brewed since 1995, which has received international recognition along with a number of top awards. Bright gold in colour and with a thick foam on the glass Ekstra has gained its wide popularity for its balanced flavour which is enlivened with slight bitterness of hops. Thanks to ThirstyBird for this bottle. Pale golden in the glass with a huge white head. Bready-grainy aroma. The beer starts malty-grainy, a but strange. The strange, slightly sourish note remains in the mainpart, a bit metallic, not nice. The aftertaste is long, metallic, grainy, strange-bitter. Probably a bit muddy… And a bit sweetish.

Colour clear pale golden, frothy white head vanishes quickly, no lacing.
Malty aroma, lots of bread, hay, grass, basement aromas. Flavour light sweet, mild bitterness, creamy texture, light to medium body, flat carbonation. Mildly dry and soft bittersweet finish, on the verge of being bland, the draught version has more character.
