This fruit beer poured a cloudy light yellow colour with a minimal head. Scents include grapefruit, grapefruit and more grapefruit. First swig was medium carbonated with flavours of grapefruit. Quite sweet, reminds me of the old pop "Wink". Finish is fruity with a very sweet palate.

Bottle. "Contains not more than 3.2 percent of alcohol by weight". Cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Pleasant fresh grapefruit juice aroma. Sweetish and tart grapefruit flavor with a light bitterish citric note. Not very beer like, but very nice, clean and refreshing. A lot better than any other Radler/Shandy I’ve tried.

Pours hazy pear into a pint glass. White head crackles and quickly recedes to nothing. Sweet Fresca aromas. Sharp with sour grapefruit pulp upfront turning to pith in the lasting dry finish. I guess the question is "why"?

Pale, pale yellow with a large whipped head that disappears quickly. Aroma is purely grapefruit. Taste is surprisingly not as tart as the scent suggests....candied, sweet, sticky. However, in the end, it’s really just a soft drink with a splash of beer in it.... Probably a good "Hair of the Dog" hangover remedy, actually...if you had 6.....with breakfast. Tasty, but....no thanks.

This is actually very decent - a lot more than you would think. Grapefruit is very well integrated. Smells like the fruit with soft carbonation. Nice bit of the fruit without being too sour. Integrated astringency. Tall can.

Draft. Cloudy yellow body with a frothy, white head. Lots of grapefruit, lime and citrus in the aroma and not much more. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Bottom line: Expensive fruit juice. But it’s inoffensive and thirst quenching. At 2.5%, you can drink a lot of it.

Taster glass. I think we may want to separate true Radlers from fruit beers, as a finished beer with juice or soda added before packaging is a different animal than one fermented with fruit. For one, this is intended to be low-alcohol, and for two, it’s not fair to be comparing this to a DFH Fort. That said, this is pretty tasty. Does not hide the fact that it’s light in alcohol, though probably the grapefruit adds some sugar calories. In fact, it does have a bit of an added sugar taste that might have been meant to keep the grapefruit from souring up the works. Not a world-beater, but recommended if I were ever actually "on the go."
