Can from OMV in AT. Seems rather orangey even though there is light refreshing sourness. Less of the beer remains here than in the Stiegl lemon radler. Not entirely lost case, quite okay radler.

bottle at home. light yellow cloudy color. fast disappearing, very small white head. smell of lemonade, citric, oranges, sweetness. light body, quite bubbly carbonation, light but quite bubbly mouthfeel. tastes quite citric, oranges, grapefruity, rather astringent, light sweetness, but overall quite acidic. quite acidic / citric finish. light grainy notes on the aftertaste. decent, quite citric acidic (sourish), not so sweet as other representatives of the style.

Sample at House Beer. Hazy straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grapefruit juice and mild spice. Light-bodied with a mildly tart grapefruit character and notes of wheat and spice. The finish is fruity with a grapefruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

50 cl can @ lusikka, BBE 11.04.2015
Aroma has strong lemonade tones and some long drink. Flavour has somewhat tart lemonade tones, hayish grain, long drink and hints of menthol. Refreshing but quite far from a beer.

500ml can

Pours hazy yellowish with a foamy white head. Aroma of zesty grapefruit juice, hints of tartness and wheaty notes. Tastes like a grapefruit soda with a hint of yeastiness and wheaty notes. Finish is juicy and soda like with faint yeasty notes. Reminds me of Finnish long drink/lonkero. Feels like a nice summer drink.

Draft. A- Grapefruit juice, slightly bitter, lemon. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head, T- Grapefruit juice, subtle bitter grapefruit, citrus. P- Light body, average texture, medium high carbonation, fruity refreshing finish. O- Hot damn. This is one Radler I could drink and drink and drink. Both because of the low abv and the taste. It doesn’t taste artificial at all. Basically just grapefruit juice with a very small hint of alcohol. I want more! And next I want to try it with a shot of tequila mixed in. Can’t get much better for a hot day session drink.
