0,33 bottle. Traditional label. Golden yellow clear color, nice big white foam, medium-lasting. Spicy, slightly herbal, sweet aroma on a malt basis. Yeast is also noticeable. Medium-bodied, which is noticeable at first sip, that it also has "normal" hop bitterness. It is also a pretty good citrusy, spicy beer, with a complex taste. Fruitiness, citrusiness are also noticeable, there is also regular carbonation, which makes it fresher. A little candy-sugary alcohol is noticeable, but not terrible. Quite a good basic Belgian golden ale. I expected worse, but the complex taste threw it off.

Hagyományos címke. Aranysárga tiszta szín, szép nagy fehér hab, közepesen tart. Malátás alapon fűszeres picit gyógynövényes, édeskés aroma. Élesztő is érződik.

Bottle. Nose is wheat, banana, slight spice, bubblegum. Taste is wheat light malt, very pronounced bubblegum, leading to a dry finish with spice, almost a hint of licorice. Passable

Bottle from Beer 52. Typical Belgian aroma of bubblegum with added yeast. Pours a golden yellow with a strong frothy white head. In the mouth it is bananas parexcellence. Cloves and honey come through after a while and it’s all on a sweet malt base. Finish is mainly spices. A good solid Belgian blonde.

Cask version, ABV 6%, at the Gig House (JDW), Wokingham. Gold with a scummy white head; aroma of Belgian yeast; syrupy texture without being sweet; dry with yeast and wheat, some honey and some Brugges spices; then a dry bitter finish. A heavyweight blond, this is what Leffe should taste like.

Clear, lively golden beer with a thick white head. Light malty aroma. Flavour is breast, with some fruit sweetness, a little hop and some banana. A fairly run of the mill Belgian blonde but it's drinkable enough.
