Clear dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, caramel malt, yeasty, dried fruit, raspberry?. Flavor is moderate sweet and the body is light. The finish is light acidic and sweet. Too much carbonation. 190111

spicy, chocolaty aroma with dried fruits, baby diaper, tangy fruit as well. Interesting and original nose, licorice too. Very funky flavor, spicy and again somewhat vegetal or manure-like! Licorice, earth, low sweetness, root beer, dry yet not really bitter. A strange bird, this is...slightly acidic, mossy, medicinal; palate a bit thin. Original, for sure, but one is enough.

Pours dark brown with a large off-white head.Nose shows treacle and bready malt along with some floral hops. Pretty hoppy actually, especially for the style, but still nice.Flavours are similar but less sweet and with more doughy, bready yeast. Finishes kinda weak.Body is watery, especially considering the rich flavours.

Aroma: Light roast, slightly sweet, some maltiness, some caramel
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a nice beige head
Flavor: The taste is pretty malty, some roasted sweetness to it
Palate: This one drinks really nicely, it has a decent mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: I liked this one. A Dubbel with a nice roasted malt flavors that just seems to work pretty well. I like this beer. A good example of the style.

Little clouded darkbrown beer. Almost no head. Smells sweet, roasted malts, some dried fruits. Full body. A little sour with mainly roasted malts as taste. Aftertaste is a little roasted, some acidity and coffee. Not the most exciting beer, but definetely not bad either.

Bottle: Almost clear, deep amber coloured, some floaties visible; stable beige foamy layer; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly increasing bitterness towards the malty-fruity finish, a warming alcohol-burn in the aftertaste included. Not bad, but quite simple......
