Fat på Närke. Brygd 2013, lagrad på Aqvavit-fat. Bärnstensfärgad, klar med liten ljusbeige krona. Åldrats fint med välavvägda smakar. Sötman fortfarande hög. Smakar av honung, rostat socker, mjuka toner från Aqvaviten, fin strävhet som stramar åt sötman. En lite, lite skogig längre bak. Gott och elegant.

Tap @ Borefts 2015. Amber color. Honey aroma with red berries. Almost sugary honey-sweet flavor. Well executed, but not really my taste.

Cask at Bishop's Arms Gamla Stan, Stockholm. Hazy deep amber. Huge balsamic honey aroma, mild tones of spicy aquavit. Full sweet with near full body and rounded mouthfeel. Rich floral honey. Mildly warming finish. Harmonious and rich.

Draft at Borefts 2018. Aroma of honey and malt. Taste of sticky honey, sugar, malt and caramel. So sweet.

Tap. Clear deep amber color with beige head. Aroma is sweet breakfast honey. Taste is breakfast honey, a bit flowery, sweet, also some breadiness. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

"Brewed with Menno from De Molen on 16 april 2013 in Örebro." Very sweet and honey'ish, on the mead side of the braggot spectrum. Not that much aquavit, but it adds a touch of herbalness and strength. Very awesome indeed.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Clear, dark amber with a beige head. Sweetish aroma of lots of honey, some nuts and a touch of thyme. Extremely sweet, malty, slightly spicy taste of massive honey, thyme, cinnamon and some nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth, almost oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Nice!
