Curious as to why anyone would ever choose this over Modelo Especial; not that Modelo's great, but it's a damned flavor explosion compared to this bland pint. Toasted corn, cream corn, and maybe a hint of bitterness on the back end. It's wet and drinkable so I guess it serves its purpose.

Bottle. Another terrible Mexican beer. Clear gold watery and skunky. Not too bad when you add the lime.

12oz bottle. Pretty enjoyable. Clean, straight forward. A pinch more malt character than Corona. Mild, mellow corn notes. Ok hop balance, mild bitterness. Fades into a sweet finish. OK.

I had this at a Mexican restaurant in Wisconsin Dells on a cold winter night of all places. Standard Mexican lager, drinkable with palate but no particulary noticeable flavor or aroma, good or bad.

It’s almost caramelly.

Pours golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet malt syrup. Taste has syrup notes, corny. Palate has sickly sweet notes, some acerbic hop elements. Bad.

24 fl oz can at Padres game. Into plastic cup. Clear pale amber beer with a big head of foam. Smells of bubblegum and regret. Actually quite tasty, malty and easy drinking. Baseball beer, hey?
