[12oz bottle from Albertson's, Fullerton, CA.] A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head and very lively carbonation; some grass on the nose; sweet grainy body with an apple taste; and a finish that isn't as crisp as it could be, even when well chilled, leaving s sticky feeling on the lips.

24oz can at Capital One Arena (Hockey) in Washington DC. Courtesy of solidfunk. Thanks Josh! Aroma was light corn, sweet notes. Smells like a standard Northern American macro, with a slight German twist. I mean, it's fine - better than pretty much anything else you could find at the arena, so there's that going for it.

15 bones for this tick at a hockey game. Not quite worth it let's just say. Papery and golden. Not as bad as it could be but bad. 24 Oz can.

Bottle from a bodega: Mexican beer #99: pour is I drank it from the bottle because it is clear, and I do nkt really care. Aroma is a little skunky and sugary but overall fine for what it is. Taste is fortunately not too sweet, light hop flavor. Truly not bad for what it is.

Bottle from World Market. Clear gold pour with a small white head. Aroma is skunky grasses, grain. Flavor is sweet corn, garbage water, skunk, green grass, bean, sugar. Not good. I'm going to compost pour this. I bought it for a tick anyway.

Impressed, expected watery but nice caramel flavor. Crisp and tasty with my Mexican meal. Sweet and refreshing.

This beer is a clear pale golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Malt, corn and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, mild grassy hops and corn. The finish is malty up front with a bit of skunky hops in the aftertaste. Below average overall.

Can from Boise Coop. Nothing much to this beer, really. Not horrible, just weak. Refreshing? Probably. Flavor seems to be an afterthought. Meh. I've had worse.

My first venture with Estrella Jalisco. Typically I find a mexicano cerveza enjoyable in its own right if not in comparison to say an IPA or a Belgian. Whatever. This twelve oz bottle was picked up as a single at the closest Albertsons. The top comes off, no glass today, I see the clear, yellow liquid. A quick smell, nothing unique, grainy, maybe some hay. A drink without a lime, it could be any of a half-dozen Corona-like beers. Some lemon, crackers, water. Add the lime, ah, much better. No complaining from me right now.
