Zwart bier met mooie donkerbruine schuimkraag. Smaak is licht zoet en goed pittig met duidelijk de peper die naar voren komt. Verder iets van chokolade en koffie met een lichte rooksmaak. Waarschijnlijk niet voor iedereen een topper maar als je van pittig houdt is dit echt een aanrader.

Black color with a tan head with moderate retention and some lacing. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, coffee beans and chili notes. Flavro is more dominated by chili notes, roasted malt notes appears as well, with hints of chocolate. Roasty final with moderate chili notes.

Borefts IX. Day 2. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth soft dark malts, creamy dark chocolate. Little coffee. First few seconds in the gob this beer gives an easy going impression. Then the chilli kicks in and ramps up and sticks around. Impressively hot if this is your cup of tea. I prefer chillies in my food.

Bottle (from debierliefhebber.nl). Pours black with mocha head. Aroma is sweet, roast, chili, chocolate, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, really intense chili, roast, chocolate, malt. Finish is sweet and intense chili. Overall: really great, fcking chili overload.

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As De Molen Hot & Spicy 5 ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate - coffee, chili fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy, chocolate, chili hot, sweet chocolate. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
