Bottle 0,33ltr: Slightly hazy amber colored brew with medium dry bitter taste, hints of tea, rye and maybe some ginger and nutmeg i think. But this beer needs more body to be genius.

This is a decent xmas spicy beer. But a little too trying to force the issue. Like a spice soup. Sterk ams

Looks really good with dark reddish colour and solid creamy head. Aroma and flavour are dominated by sweet spices. Watery finish too.

Fles gedeelt met LiekevdV. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige, rogge achtige wat kruidige geur. De smaak is moutig, rogge, thee, en kruiden.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 21 Feb 2018) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of caramel, roasted malt and tea. Malty, spicy taste with caramel, chocolate, tea (rooibos), grass and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Odd, but quite interesting. Enjoyable.

Bottle @ home. Clear amber-ish color, medium sized quite quickly diminishing off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, rye, tea, herbal, some spices. Taste malts, rye, tea, herbal / spices, a bit sweet and lightly bitter. Quite thin texture, a bit firm carbonation. Meh.
