Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Yeasty estery aroma with soft floral & herbal hops, bready pale malt, grassy notes, spicy peppery yeast, and fruity citrussy notes. Flavour is light sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Certainly not without flaws and a bit curious with its floral and herbal notes, pretty yeast-forward rather than hop-forward, but an okay brew.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish with -oddly enough- slight cabbage notes. Not sure I even get hops. Tastes like one of so so many other Belgian ales. Mwah at best.

Helder lichtgeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en zoet fruitig met iets van banaan en sinaasappel.

hazy golden colour, large, dense, though not too stable white head; aroma of citrusy-fruity-floral notes with some banana; taste is more or less the same with some spiciness and yeasty-white wine-like notes; really enjoyable and easy to drink Belgian ale; considerably underrated

Pas transcendant cette Fort Lapin Hoplapin. On ne sait d'ailleurs pas trop en quoi elle est hop. Arôme peu intéressants et équilibre imparfait en font une bière que l'on peut aisément éviter. Elle a au moins l'intérêt d'être rafraîchissante. Robe blonde légèrement voilée (EBC aux alentours de 21), la mousse y est quasiment absente. Les nez est avant tout fruité sur la pomme, la poire, la banane la pêche avec une pointe acidulée. Rien d'excitant mais rien de désagréable. A la dégustation, l'attaque laisse sceptique, légèrement acidulée, elle présente des arômes de biscuit, de pain et de pomme. Bof. Ma deuxième se porte un peu plus sur les agrumes et l'amertume mais reste quelconque. L'arrière bouche est quant à elle linéaire et l'ampleur en bouche est réduite. La troisième bouche est la plus équilibrée, plus douce mais sur les même arômes. Le final, acidulé, moyennement long, est légèrement épicé sans soulever les foules. L'alcool ne structure pas assez l'ensemble. Pas de passion pour ce lapinou. Hop, à la prochaine.
