Dunkbar Pilsnerfestival Pre-tasting. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of spicy phenols and fruit, along with a touch of grassy hops. Sweet malty flavour with spicy phenols, over-ripe fruit and a hint of grassy hops. Medium bitter finish

Bottle from a Carrefour in Bruges. Pours clear yellow with a small, foamy, white head. The aroma contains hops, hay, straw, citrus, spices, malt, some banana & honey. It tastes medium fruity sweet and medium hoppy bitter, turning slightly cloying and ending sweet, with notes of banana. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. The promised hops are not really there, and there's something weird about the finish. Promising smell, disappointing taste.

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Clear gold lasting cream head. Slightly herbal blonde aroma, smooth in the mouth. Easy drinking hoppy Belgian blonde, yes some light esters on the aroma. Rather good I thought, I do like a well made Belgian blond.

Bottle at the Brewery Tap, Saturday, 18th June 2016 on a wet and miserable day. But Belgium beat Rep of Ireland 3-0 in the football. Pours silvery gold with a slim white head, a little hazy. A spicy nose and the yeastiness with the spice again apparent in the mouth. Light fruitiness, quite sweet, pleasant beer but I was hoping for a bit more hoppiness. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov13 3.3

Violent gushing. Murky khaki colour with floaties, tall off-white head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Citrus aroma, pale malt, orange, tangerine, yeast. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, grainy, light citrus, yeasty, bit coriander. Some herbal bitterness in the sweet fruity finish, medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, disappointing.
