Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy golden color. Vinous aroma, some peach and apricot, nice sourness. The mouthfeel is very smooth, and stronger than expected, with mild residual sweetness; peach and apricots come through, but also mild astringency.
Balanced, excellent.

Tap @ Beer Temple with Markoijelena and Zlotta (a.o.). Hazy pale golden color. Undeven white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: sour, fruity, brett-funk. Retronasal it’s sour, sweet fruits, brett-funk. Flavor is moderate to full sour, bretty. Light bodied. Finishes dry and light bitter. Too much brett for me.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Clear, golden amber with a frothy, white head. Sourish-fruity, rather funky aroma of lemon, gooseberry, white grapes, oak and some straw. Moderately sour, fruity and funky taste of lemon, gooseberry, white grapes, oak and straw, followed by a medium long, rather tart and dry finish. Thin to medium body, spritzy and moderately astringent mouthfeel, flat. Nice, mellow and well-balanced sour ’Saison’.
