Go West! IPA is made with 2-row pale barley malt and dry-hopped with a unique blend of 4 American hops. Its mouthwateringly complex aromas of citrus, pine, and the tropics; spiky bitterness; gleaming golden color; and clean finish unite to create this singular 24-karat IPA. Bottle, 0.355l. Cloudy amber color with medium soapy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, pine, peach, papaya, melon and mild caramel. Taste starts medium sweet grainy, following is refreshing fruity and grassy with evident medicinal note, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Will have to search for better golden nugget...

2016 catch up - It was a good mouthful of an IPA. I’m not sure it was meant to be so cloudy, but it had a good flavour of hops and the alcohol was quite evident. It was good, but not necessarily one to buy again.

Can from Booths, Media City. Golden with a small head. Slightly understated India Pale Ale in its character, but it’s strength is also hidden. Hoppy, with most of its tropical fruitiness in its nose.

Pours hazy orange color, topped with a large and very lasting off-white head, very creamy. Milder fruity hoppy nose with slightly dusty feel and some pine notes. Moderate bitterness, extra piney and also herbal and grassy feel to it with some decent malty back. Medium body. Lasting aftertaste.

Can from Asda. Deep golden in colour, with slight fizziness, and small, white, head. orange and pineapple fruits, citrus hops, biscuity malts and a hint of pine, leading to a dryish finish. Pleasant.
