Aroma of biscuity malt, rye, peppery yeast, caramel, hint of hop. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Okay, but I expected a little more.

Bottle. Dark amber color, yeast floaties. Malt, butter and soft red fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet alcoholic flavor. Hints of aceton. Lots of carbon. Pear drups. Slightly disappointing.

Almost clear amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy and dry with reasonable fine carbonation. Airy malts, tangy caramel and a touch of grain. Spicy orange peel with a trace of lemon. Ripe fruits. Light dry finish. Okay.

33cl bottle @ home, in October 2016. Brown color with a red hue, particles floating. Light beige head with good retention. Aroma’s: sweet malt, caramel/toffee, light herbs/spices. Retronasal it’s sweet, toffee, light red fruit, jam. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, malty. Thick mouthfeel, full body, from the rye, I’m assuming. Carbonation is a bit too high, gushing in the mouth. Finish is malty at first with a light herbal bitterness eventually.Earlier Rating: 5/15/2016 Total Score: 2.5Sample from tap @ Utrechts Brouwers Fesitval 2016, with Zlotta, Caesar, Benzai & ShivanDragon. Murky brown color. Off white head with a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: a bit sour, light vomit. Mostly sourish retronasal, with herbs. Flavor is moderate sour, moderate sweet. Medium bodied. Didn’t age so well.

Sampled from tap at Brouwersfestival Utrecht 2016. Hazy, brownish amber with a tan head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and spicy aroma of caramel, red fruits and clove. Sweet, moderately fruity and slightly spicy taste of caramel, red fruits and clove, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay, but too spicy for me.

On tap at Oproer. Murky brown colour, beige head. Aroma of a Flemish Brown, infected, spices, cinnamon, pear, rye. Flavour is medium sweet, light tart/sour, fruity, red fruits, rye, light hoppy, tart finish. Medium bodied. Clearly infected, but I think it improved the base beer.Earlier Rating: 2/15/2015 Total Score: 2.533cl Bottle at Drie Dorstige Herten. Hazy brown colour, beige head. Aroma of rye, herbs, hops, yeast. Flavour is yeasty, plastic, herbal, some hops, caramel, toast, rye, bitter finish. Way over-carbonated, hard to drink.
