Pours a dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, roasted malts, dark fruits. One of the better ’macro’ bock brews.

A clear dark red beer with chocolate taste, with a light brown head. It was eight years ago when i drunk it for the last time.

Brown with a creamy, off-white head. Brown sugar aroma. Candied cherry. A touch medicinal. Taste is caramel sweet. Finishes fruity with a mild, metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, decent chewiness. Booze well hidden. Has its rough, industrial feeling edges but remains drinkable.

Clear deep ruby brown colour, good frothy beige head, stays a while, good lacing. Aroma roasted malt, roasty, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, caramel, coffee, liquorice. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lingering sweetbitter aftertaste, good sturdy doppelbock.
