American Pale Ale inspired on the neo-noir classic Pulp Fiction. The Cinema Brewers made a salute to the American ‘95 Palm D’or winning film by adding vanilla as a refference to vanilla in Mia’s $5 Shake, the red apples is a wink to the cigarette brand ‘Red Apples’ and the blueberries are added due to Butch’s line of dialogue: ‘I’ll be back before you can say blueberry pie’.

330ml bottle, from trade with RW80. Many thanks! Pours clear gold, large white head. Aroma is parma violets, floral, light berries. Taste is in essence a nice pale blonde with light fragrant hints, vague vanilla and blueberries but getting no apple. Perhaps expected more of those elements but it’s still a moreish drinkable pale.

Bottle at home. Clear light golden with very big fluffy head. Some citrus, vanilla, quite some red apple, light grains and biscuits, cake, light herbs. Light sweet and bitter. Under medium bodied with a slight creamy and crisp feel. Judging by the color this wasn’t really made with blueberries, or maybe with homeopathic amounts. Still a nice beer.

Bottle sample @ RBBWG 2016.

0.33 l bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen, best before May 2017. Hazy, straw yellow with a white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity aroma of honey, vanilla, apples and passion fruit. Sweetish-fruity taste of passion fruit, apple, vanilla and some honey, followed by a short, medium bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Nice!

Note: When I saw these awesome labels, I just had to buy them. :-) Vince Vega and Jules Winnfield in some awesome oil paint impression with lots of colour, lovely! I had the Vince Vega one.
Little cloudy blond beer, creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, exotic fruits, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, grassy, citrus, some lemon grassy, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: fruity, bit sweet, malty, resinous hops, pretty bitter, grassy, some grapefruit.

This is one tasty beverage! Vanilla clearly present, even apple and blueberry are noticable. Could be stronger, though.

Bottle found at Jumbo Supermarket. Clear golden with fast dissolving head. Hay, grassy, lemon, citrus (light tangerine), skunky hops, milky yeast and spiciness. Taste is light sweet and thick bitter. Nice refreshing and dry with faint licorice finish. Pleasant drink! --- Beer merged from original tick of 5 Dollar $hake on 21 Nov 2017 at 14:10 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.6
