A perfectly balanced ale, characterised by its fresh hoppy taste and a clean bitter finish. The Official Beer of England Rugby, Greene King IPA is now the fastest selling cask ale in the UK.

Abv reduced from 3.6% to 3.4% in September 2023 “to help the company combat rising costs while maintaining the same crisp flavor of the beer”.

Bottle I really wonder why do they call it IPA as it didn't even walk around the style.

Cask. Rather bland and boring but without any obvious faults. Sweet and fruity.

Cask @ Duke of Cumberland, Barham. Clear caramelcoloured beer. Sweet, malty, light bitter, some cardboard and tartness. Meh.

Bottle from a Lidl sale. Shared with lovely Anja and little Mirko. Dark golden to amber, medium off-white head. Very light malts, corn, and no hops. Water. No body, moderate carbonation, no finish. Huge disappointment.

Cask at the Bell, Kesgrave. Backlog rating from historic scoring. No tasting notes kept, just rating. Slightly better than bottled version.
