Tap @ De Molen. Orange golden color. Tangerine and ginger confit in the aroma. Spicy flavor with tangerine. Amarillo hops all over. Earthy hopbitter aftertaste. There is a slight distortion between the very fruity and slightly spicy aroma and the overwhelming hoppy flavor. Nevertheless an excellent beer and another jewel in the Molen crown. Bottled at home. Amber color. Grassy hops and orange in the soft aroma. Also in the flavor, but the hopbitterness is more pronounced and lingers on in the aftertaste. Mandarin curacao. Good.

Jim/John is back tasting. Bottle courtesy of scott. Unclear orange with very quickly diminishing head. Honey sweet, alcoholic, rye-ish, grainy, apple, banana, white raisans, dried banana, old pineapple, coriander. Quite sweet. Smooth full bodied, oily and slick. No carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lusten & Lasten (Joys & Burdens) on 21 Nov 2017 at 20:39 - Score: 6. Original review text: 3.3

Bottle shared at THT. Slight hazy orange golden with head that lasts a few seconds. Sherry, lots of oxidized notes, grainy, apricot, alcohol, light honey. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel and barely any carbonation. Way past its prime.

Bottle at the Jim / John is back tasting, Den Haag, April 2016. Poured a murky orange amber with little life. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a rich caramel alcoholic spicy, light hop palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation.

Hazy amber beer, short lived tiny white head. Smooth soft palate, a little syrupy and semi dry. That sweet tripel flavour is here but not as sweet as many tripels. Traces of orange and dried fruits. Creamy finish. Nice tripel. Thanks to Mes for this one.
