Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano indizi di caramello. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. La parte liquida offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato finiscono note di caramello, miele, crosta di pane, resina, pino, erbaceo e agrumi.

Аромат сразу очень необычен, какие то ягоды схожие на голубику, но не совсем, при этом есть нотки от каких то трав. Цвет полу темный, менка маленькая. Вкус достаточно питкий, очень сбалансированный и умеренный. Снова много трав с немного сладкими нотами каких то ягод спелых. При глотке больше уже трав, даже с небольшой сухостью. В целом очень необычный варик, как всегда у этих Шотландцев.

1 litre flagon from a deli in Lenzie - cloudy golden body with a firm white head. Syrupy pine and spruce notes, some peach, medicinal herbiness and a little sweetness. Decent gear.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Golden brown, slightly reddish, mostly clear with a ring of off-white head. Aroma of caramel, orange peel, boiled sweet, spruce tips. It has a nice honest sweetness, a touch of fruited caramel, little bit more spruce, citrus and cherry finish with a little more bitterness. Full body for the ABV with carbonation on the low side. Yum.

Bottle from Cork & Cask (2021) and can from The Beerhive (2023). Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of orange zest, caramel and pine resin. Flavour of mint, honey, pine, cranberry and a bitter finish. Medium body with a slick, slightly oily texture. Light fizz. This is very nice and one of Williams Brothers’ best beers.

Creamy beige head stayed on a reddish brown still body. Berry & vegetal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tickle on the back & cloying aft. Berry, fruity, vegetal & herbal tastes with pleasant salty finish. Very tasty!

Head gone in seconds; clear foxy copper beer. Oxydated, sweet, dried oranges. Liquorice, sweet, sweet-spiced. Faintly toasted, resiny. Medium bodied at least, very slick to oily-viscous (the resins). Strange oxydation aroma in the nose, rest is much more logical. Txs to Stef!

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma scarsa bianco sporco media persistenza, colore ambrato velato, al naso malto caramello lamponi e resina, in bocca malto caramelle gommose al pino, corpo rotondo, carbonazione piatta, oily, amaro accentuato lungo nel finale.
