Een mooi, niet zoet, goudgelig bier van hoge gisting met een verfrissende licht prikkelende en kruidige smaak door gebruik van o.a. de mooiste hoppen. Norbertijn Blond hergist op fles en is een vol en rijk smakend speciaalbier van 6% alcohol dat gemakkelijk wegdrinkt. Gebrouwen naar de eeuwenoude traditie van Berne Abdijbier.

Clear medium golden colour, good two finger frothy macropore white head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma malt, grain, yeast, light citrus. Prickly taste, light to medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, touch of citrus. Dry sweetbitter aftertaste, peppery notes, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, decent blond.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear light yellow with a big white head. Sweet slightly citrussy aroma with some coriander as well. Bittersweet taste. Quite refreshing.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with huge, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Husky and yeasty aroma, a fruity touch of gooseberry. Taste is minimally tart, slightly yeasty spicy, husky, a touch of gooseberry, lemon, lime, minimally sweet counterpart with powdered sugar touch.

Tap at NBPF. Hazy light golden with fluffy white head. Some cloves, sweet malts, sugar, lemon, marzipan. Over medium sweet and light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Good Belgian blond.

Draft at The Hague beer festival. Very hazy yellow golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, light fruits, herbal notes and light malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Sampled from bottle @ Oirschots Bierfestival 2016. Hazy a bit please yellow color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste are not nice at all. Rotting things, vomit, sourish. Yuk, not good at all. Filthy stuff. Drainpour.
