Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Roodbruin helder bier met mooie schuimkraag. Aroma en smaak van kersen en bessen. Het is erg zuur maar heeft meer weg van limonade dan van bier.

Bottle. Not sure where from but was sat in my cellar for about 7 years, is five years past its sell-by date, but was absolutely fine, even with a cork in place. The fruits are really strong in both aroma and taste, and dense in the latter giving it a lot of depth, much more than its alcohol content would suggest. The lambic process has given it a tangy texture with a bitter-sweetness. Dark purple with a small head.

(bottle 0,25l) Overall: Strongly flavored, sweeter lambic. Good. Aroma: Strong blackcurrant. Appearance: Clear dark ruby. Medium pink head. Taste: Strong blackcurrant, light sour, medium sweet. Palate: Long dry finish.

Bottle. Deep purple-red. Blackcurrant and cherry nose with hint of wood. Sweet with a welcome mild sourness to take it away from a cordial syrup flavour. Incredibly smooth with the subtle oakiness coming through late. Elegant nectar.

Bottle. Pours clear dark red with a medium pink head. Aromas of sweet black currants, leathery, dry, light funk. Taste is subtle sour, vinegary but mostly just goddamn sweet, sugary, overripe sweet blackcurrants, minimal funk.

Strong blackcurrant aroma. Very sweet and sour blackcurrant flavor. The cassis juice doesn't leave room for other flavors. Occasionally a decent lambic flavor shines through. Just a bit milky. A nice teenagers drink, also suitable for adults with a sweet tooth.
