Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, bread, pumpkin, spices, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Okay-ish Pumpkin Ale, not really my thing.

Pours hazy coppery brown, topped with medium but lasting creamy off-white head. Notable spice aroma, Christmas spices (cloves and cinnamon) and pumpkins. Taste follows, some sweetness and noticeable spiciness, a bit of ginger character and cinnamon. Little bit of bitterness in the end. Lighter body. Not my favourite style at all, but not bad.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with average, foamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Typical Pumpkin Ale aroma, notes of pumpkin and several spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, a hoppy touch of orange zest. Taste delivers the same notes of spiced pumpkin. Well balanced, not overspiced, paradigmatic Pumpkin Ale.

Bottle courtesy of cgarvieuk dregs run. Appearance - amber red. Generally autumnal. Nose - cinnamon and nutmeg mainly. Something sweet vegetal underneath. Taste - yeah nutmeg all the way. Mind you, some remnants of crunchy malt going on too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - enjoyed it even if the general principle of making a pumpkin ale was slightly missed. When you add so much spice that the pumpkin can’t be tasted what’s the point.
