If you could order them at the bar; why would you order anything else? This sparkling ale pours golden yellow with a refreshing botanical aroma. Cascade hops and gooseberries invigorate and revitalize the pallet.

500ml bottle from Cornelius Beer and Wine in Edinburgh. Nice, clear amber body under a low, white head. Mild in aroma with floral hops and malts. More floral hops in taste supported by hints of oats and a bite of caramel malts. Short, dry ending. Rather foamy in the mouth. Satisfying. At my hotel room in Edinburgh, 23.10.2008.

Bottle from Sainsbury. Deep gold, thin beige head. Some sherbert hop on aroma. A rather lovely hop profile on this. It’s a very light, entertaining pale ale, with a nod towards lager. Refreshing easy drinking. Good Times? Yeah, ok, it put a smile on my face, or was that Armando Ionucci on the radio? No great finish, touch of hop. Holds up well throughout.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden coloured with a decent, frothy off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, hay and a hint of citrus. Flavour was slightly sweetish, with decent malts, elderflowers, and citrus hops with a touch of prickliness. Very drinkable.
